I call this side the city view side of the hotel the forgotton section of the hotel. Prior to this I was in the ocean view room, for 10 days, all connected to the hotel with easy access to any part of the hotel.And I paid less for the room with breakfast included.For the city view rooms I paid more and extra for breakfast. To get to the main building I had to come out of the side of the hotel and walk pass the little shop and enter through the reception anytime of day or night.
I also felt that the rooms on this side of the hotel were given less attention. I had to inquire about the cleaning people that were very visible on the other side and did not see on this side. On request my room was cleaned and with a call to the house keeping the beverage supplies were brought to the room.
Given the choice I will not stay in Citrus if I had to settle for the city view rooms. All the staff were very friendly and caring.

Posted 22 Jan 2024 on HotelsJust basic, bare bones accommodation. One of the members of our group said it was more like a lodge than a hotel. There were rust spots around the room and fixtures, even in the kettle. The room was clean but the quality of everything belongs in a much cheaper property. the mattresses, sheets, bathrooms, shower, were all below average. The AC didn't work properly. All round, quite a disappointment. Some of the staff were very friendly and helpful, esp at reception, but that wasn't true of the staff in the restaurant and elsewhere. We even got charged for something we hadn't ordered!

Friendly service, staff was helpful and friendly, food was good and reasonable, restaurant staff was the best !!!!
