Two things I felt were needed:
1) better lighting outside along the road up to the Atlas. At night time, it is quite dark and the house on the right where we turn was lit up but not the hotel office. It was confusing.
2) A much bigger sign is needed for the hotel office. Again at night is when many guests arrive and once you are inside I had to figure out their old system of picking up the phone and wait for someone to come check me in.

Clean economical hotel.
Posted 9 Sep 2019 on Hotels I visited the area during High season, and rates were high in the area. This was a great economical alternative. The room was spotless, the location was great, the staff was very friendly and helpful. This is a modest hotel with smaller rooms, but everything works just fine, including the TV and the Wi-Fi. I would definitely come here again if I was in the area.

Good price, clean and convenient
Posted 29 Jul 2019 on HotelsStayed at the Atlas Motor Lodge because it was an hour away from an annual bicycle event in Millerton, NY. The lodge is conveniently located near the bike trail linking Newburgh and Poughkeepsie and the walkway over the Hudson River. The bed was comfortable, room was neat and bathroom/shower were acceptable. If you require amenities, such as a pool, gym or lounge, pay more and book at a corporate/chain lodging. If your good with a fair price and decent room, this is your place!
My wife and I were very pleased and would book again and recommend it to friends.

Not the best place
