"Great stay at Hotel Riu Plaza in Toronto. This is a new hotel so everything is in great shape. They have a neat little bar/lounge area as you walk in with several workers there to greet & help you. Room was actually larger than we expected. We used the app to get specific room services only when we needed them. Room amenities were great. Breakfast was phenomenal for choices & run very smoothly with a host/hostess seating you. A small suggestion is to have some sort of night light in the bathroom. With the sliding door (a bit noisy) & it being very dark in the room, going to the bathroom in the night without waking others is a challenge. Another minor issue is that the doors close hard so there is quite a bit of inadvertent slamming in the mornings (especially with that wonderful breakfast being a huge draw). We hope to be back - it helped that despite everything amazing about this hotel, including its location near TIFF, we got a very reasonable price on hotels.com. Completely satisfied. "I enjoyed the stay just wish it was a bit more modern in the sense that we couldn’t really use the tv due to it being so old it only had certain channels, couldn’t play music or watch shows that was enjoyable, we also walked in with a knife on the kitchen counter top which threw us off but again other than that everything else was okay "
