"I liked the property as it was facing the lake , where you could see the boats going by, the grounds were kept neat and tidy and you could walk on several trails. I do think if you want to explore other places for longer,you might need transport although the boat and trains are close bye but restricted on times."

"The hotel is located on the main road into Windermere and has its own parking. Check in was fast and the receptionist was very helpful. I was a little disappointed as I didn’t realise that access to the pool with kids is only between 9am - 1pm so we had to move our plans around and take the kids the following morning. The room was fantastic, it was spotless and very spacious. It was nice and warm and included all the necessary essentials to make it a comfortable stay. The leisure centre is impeccably maintained and the kids really enjoyed themselves. Would highly recommend this hotel and would be happy to use again in the future. "

"Lovely place, lodge was clean, had everything you would need, over looking the lake, space for parking car too, we went swimming which was great, took the kids in the games room which they enjoyed, had two meals in the Restaurant, they were lovely and you get alot, we had a nice two break and very relaxing."
