This is my fourth time visiting and have always been so happy with my stay each and every time. The staff here is truly incredible and always seeking out to give the best service e and experience. Highly recommend when visiting Kyoto.

It is a convenient location to many historical interests. Hotel is clean though small subject to the legal restrictions in Kyoto I believe. Hope will have more restaurants in the hotel and more selections for the breakfast.

The hotel is beautiful on the inside and has some good restaurant choices - both healthy and traditional. A good gym with good equipment is available in the hotel. The staff are lovely and helpful. The rooms are in excellent condition and provide a reasonable Japanese atmosphere. It is a bit out of the main areas but we liked that. Highly recommended

It’s a nice hotel but bit older compared to other Hyatt or Ritz Carlton.

The central garden is nice, however, due to the proximity to the road, road noise/loud speakers are very noticible inside the rooms. The door seam for the shower room was large enough i was having to be careful that water wouldnt spray through the gap. When looking at the seam for the door on the ceiling i noticed it was starting to fall down as well. The room noise insulation is also pretty poor ( could hear water running from above and both sides of my room, plus people being noisy in the hall ) The breakfast was good, however 45$ for a single slice of french toast and a breakfast buffett seems ridiculous. Staff was very helpful though and warned me about potential allergen issues.
