We spent the night and it was very quiet, very easy to get to from the motorway and had loads of parking. The rooms did seem a little tired but perfectly clean and we had a great nights sleep.

Showing it’s age new carpets would be a must but the food is excellent and great value
staff are lovely bar closed at 9 which was a bit of a let down but over all a good stay and for the price great value

Reception staff was very pleasant. Lovely garden area. Room was in need of a good cleaning cobwebs all over the corners and ceiling. Bathroom fan was covered in thick dust/dirt. Shower tray took ages to drain away. Beds were not comfortable. Sheets towels bedding very clean. Small plant growing inside the windowsill breaking through the plaster.

The hotel is in a quiet area with good parking on site. The disappointment was on return from an evening meeting at 8.00pm, the reception and more importantly the bar was closed. Where after a busy day , it was not possible to have a relax, however and fortunately there are two pubs within walking distance of 2 mins and 15 mins.

Had to ask for more towels one between us both, but staff were lovely
Food was excellent
Breakfast great value
Drinks very expensive, go across to the garden inn, lovely pub
Loved the water fountain outside but it's very loud on a morning lol
