Pleasant accommodation, nice atmosphere!

Posted 19 Oct 2019 on HotelsThe stay was very good, on the whole the pension is exactly as we expected, simple, well appointed hotel room above a well regarded restaurant! The service of the people who checked us in and attended our table were superb! However the lady who took our money the next day seemed to be in training for the Gestapo! She needs a serious attitude replant! 😮

This is nice place where hotel is situated and very quiet place but problem is after 9pm you will not find any restaurant open.

Excellent, they are very nice, go there. I had to leave earlier, and they returned the money, they are very flexible.

The personnel found with the difficulty my reservation - the first reaction was NO RESERVATION FOR YOU! I was persistent and finally they found my pre-paid reservation. Apartment is small comparing to the options in different countries. Internet connection was not stable during the weekend.

A GREAT DISAPPOINTMENT!
Posted 4 Oct 2015 on HotelsTo be honest, we were very disappointed with this pension. It was a VERY long walk to the lake and gift shops. The shower was broken. There was no soap in our bathroom, When we asked for soap, the staff looked at us as if we were crazy. No one spoke English, only very poor German. (Fortunately we speak German.). The breakfast was only mediocre. In summary, we will never return to this pension and we can NOT recommend it to others.

Good location
Posted 28 Aug 2015 on HotelsThis hotel is in a good location short walk downhill to the thermal lake. Very limited onsite parking the girl in reception kept saying to park at the back but there were no spots unless you parked someone else in we were lucky to get a spot on the street outside. Breakfast was standard nothing special. The room was clean and spacious with a comfortable bed. There was also a nice restaurant on site.

Very comfortable and cozy room, great breakfast, welcoming and enthusiastic staff, and the food at the restaurant was fantastic. It is about a 10 minute walk to Lake Heviz and about a 15 minute drive to Keszthely beach. We would highly recommend this place for couples or families.

Pros: Liked the cleanliness and food.
Location: Close to shopping and dining
Beautiful inside and out, very clean and nice room. The staff was very friendly and helpful. The restaurant had good variety of food and excellent taste, real Hungarian traditional recipes. Good location.
