"Location excellent as very near centre. Would have been good to know about the 6 flights of stairs in the property description. A number of minor issues which we notified straight away - to be fair we asked for nobody to fix them while we were there but I took photos on arrival so we wouldn't be accused of anything."

"The property is nice and good value in a great location. The one disappointment is that there was zero communication. Everything was communicated through AI bots. I had messaged to ask if there was a hairdryer before our trip. AI said yes but when we arrived there was no hairdryer. Several messages per day received only AI replies and it was never resolved. Go prepared to have no help when needed."

"The view and location is great and it is ideal if you are a solo traveler backpacking. But if you have kids/ travel with large bags, please avoid this place as there are no elevators and the rooms are a bit crammed for space! "

"This property was nothing like the pictures. The washroom was so small you couldn’t fit in and close the door, it was by the kitchen no ventilation. The lights in the kitchen didn’t work. They had teenagers staying in that building partying all night until 5am drinking and making lots of noise. We didn’t feel safe at all. The worst thing is the management was not answering the call or dealing with anything. It was Expedia who looked after us moving us to a different property. I would obviously...

Unfortunately I felt the condition of the property lacked care as there were several things broken (including the front door lock to the building) and there was a certain smell of vomit in the shower which I messaged the host about and they did not return my message about. "Perfect location for walking to the sights or catching public transit. Front desk staff was oriented and very kind and helpful. Despite food menu at the bar area I was told there is no food available (there is a nice cafe for breakfast) so drinks but no food to go with. Nice room - very well appointed with plenty of towels!! Great value for the money!!"

"We stayed at this hotel during a recent trip to Brussels. We picked it because it was close to the things that we were planning to do. It ended up being a little further away than we had anticipated, but still a walkable distance from the medieval city center and the entertainment district. The hotel is beautiful and situated right next to the city botanical Gardens. It is safe and the staff was so kind and welcoming to us. We had wonderful amenities. This hotel State was halfway through our two week trip and so we enjoyed having a nice restaurant and Access to services and concierge. We would definitely stay at another Hoxton property. "
