It's on flight path, no where to go at night, hardly any lights so a bit weary going out and about. To get anywhere you have to pay for a taxi or bus. Room basic, food ok but never hot. Only alcohol for all inclusive is beer wine ouzo and raki. Everything else you have to pay for..

I enjoyed my vacation at Lyda Club Hotel. The room was so clean. The sheets and towels were changed every day. The food which was buffet style was pretty good. I liked the snack bar where they had barbecue almost every evening. Sometimes they had pasta. Overall, it was good and convenient. The staff is nice and friendly. I recommend it.

Don’t usually leave bad reviews when going abroad as we don’t expect a lot when staying at a 3* & are just happy to be away in the sun but I am due to how TERRIBLE the hotel manager is. She should not be representing this hotel as she does not know customer service. On our 1st night our bed broke as there were only 5 slats, after 3x times of this trying to be fixed at 3am & eventually it breaking for a 4th time & a slat flying off & chipping all on the floor, the night-receptionist replaced the slats. The night manager promised a room upgrade the next day. However the next day the hotel manager was rude, patronising & unapologetic, She said she would not move our room & laughed in my girlfriends face & walked away twice mid convo saying it was our fault. The bed slats fell out every night as they were not screwed in. After being told that she would send a cleaner, she did not! So the splinters were great! The food is very boring- my girlfriend got food poisoning on the last day. The air-con stopped 3x even though we paid for the air-con for our entire stay. The AL finishes at 10.30pm with terrible choice of spirits. They advertise they have a swim up pool bar, ignore as it doesn’t get opened. This is the hotels greatest asset & it’s not being used. The entertainment is shocking- Zara try’s but isn’t supplied the tools to do his job. George & Lima are Fantastic! I look forward to the comical denial of the response from the hotel manager.

Dear Mr Cameron Thank you very much for taking the time to write your review about our hotel and me personally I confess that I never met you except your partner (a lady who was constantly shouting and talking without giving anyone else a chance to speak) at the hotel reception and since I did not have the opportunity to speak I started laughing please note that the hotel was full and in the room you were hosted, a family with 2 children was accommodated for16days without ever complaining about anything I will mention the report recorded by the night receptionist at your arrival night: 2 English couples arrived after 12 midnight they shouted and laughed I tried to calm them down but they did not understand due to drunkenness. at 1:00 the owner of the hotel next door, located right next to the room where these guests were staying, called and threatened to call the police. and indeed he called the police and they in turn the owner of our hotel and threatened with arrests at 2:00 in the morning your partner came back crying at the reception because the adapter of her charger does not work . I will not continue, I leave it to the readers of the review to draw their own conclusions

Worst All Inclusive ever. Not geared for the English. Very noisy, Kids running riot all day and night.

Dear guest I consider the reference to the All inclusive very unfair because there is a great variety because you are addressing many nationalities, so far there have been written 150 reviews at the trip advisor and most have been written by English clients no one complains about our AI PROGRAM, As for noise there is a swimming pool and 60 rooms in a quiet area without any noise in which area a customer can be moved when wishes I regret that despite our efforts we did not meet your wishes warmest regards Roula Niraki Manager

Not the best but an ok value all inclusive

Pleasant enough stay. The room was right next to reception and near the bar so quite noisy.Very old fashioned and worn out but clean enough.Air con was an extra fee wich I was aware of.The food was ok at first but got very samey quickly.I would avoid the daily chefs specials and go for the roasted meat or fish options.great salad bar though. The drinks on offer the same, fizzy lager, bad wine and syrupy mixers.Buy bottled mixers from the onsite shop is my advice.By the third day I stopped eating and drinking there as I felt a little unwell. the onsite shop was reasonable and a safer choice for drinks and snacks.Pleasant people though and with maybe choosing different things to eat I would have enjoyed it more.

Hotel was value for the money I paid. Never any sundloungers, not enough for the number of guests. Very noisy through the night inside and out of the hotel. But generally OK.

Lovely facilities outside. Very poor food and dri

Some of the hotel is definitely a 3* and other areas aren't. The receptionist is overworked and i saw her dealing with quite a few complaints on various occasions. She was polite and trying to be helpful. The bar staff, food area staff, and entertainment staff, were very friendly and helpful. The rooms were not great. I complained that my mattress was just full of springs and lumps. I slept very little. It stayed the same. The shower doesn't stay on the wall. The rooms were not cleaned much. The food was not good quality. It was pretty much the same every day with little variation. The drinks were very poor; all you get is red/white wine, beer or brandy as part of AI. The soft drinks are watered down syrup. We mostly bought our own drinks elsewhere. We ate out too. It isn't worth it for AI. I was asked if i would go back. I wouldn't.

dear Wendy, thank you very much for the good words about our staff, checking the hotel logbook I found no complaint of your part about anything and not of course for a mattress there are always matresses available in case someone complains if you came to us during your stay in the hotel , i think that your holidays would be much better

Worst stay in Greece so far!

Posted 20 Jun 2018 on Hotels
I’m usually very easy going and don’t complain over much but I can’t keep my mouth shut over this three night stay. We had no hot water and cockroaches! The worst part was they wouldn’t change our room and the lady at reception was so lax about it all and said they would spray later. Like really?! I’ve been to Crete multiple times and stayed in many different places and have never experienced anything close to this. Also, we couldn’t sleep because of the amount of mosquitoes swarming around and when we woke up we were covered in bites. When we first got to the hotel I thought there may have been a chicken pox outbreak because so many children had red dots all over their faces...nope.. just bugs. Anyhow, I don’t mean to be so pessimistic but we truly had an awful stay. Some of the rooms on the upper floors of the newer looking buildings appeared alright. So maybe if you’re lucky enough to get one of those you may have a decent stay.

Dear lady I'm sorry becausewe did not meet your expectations, REGARDING mosquitoes and cockroaches, I would like to inform you that the hotel is cooperating with certifieded company which sprays and installs the appropriate traps for insects and rodentsthe. hotel is surrounded by trees and plants, and due to high temperatures there are some mosquitoes, of course not as you describe it.in the hotel supermarket there are mosquito repellents which solve the problem best regards Roula Niraki Manager
