Stayed in July, girls holiday
Posted 21 Jul 2016The staff were all excellent, very helpful and did whatever they could to make our stay a success. Even buying us a new shower curtain. The atmosphere was perfect for our holiday, you could be relaxed or lively depending on how you felt!

The good and bad at Danelis
Posted 11 Aug 2015 on HotelsI recently stayed in Danelis Studio Apartments with a large group of friends to celebrate the end of our exams. On arrival Nikos was extremely hospitable by offering us a free shot each which was lovely and we were all very excited to be there. However, as the week progressed our high opinion of the hotel began to diminish. For example we were allowed no food or drink at the pool that was our own, all had to be purchased at the hotel bar for 'tax reasons'. This was absolutely ridiculous as we had friends in other hotels in the area where no such rule was enforced. There were 2 rooms of 5 girls and unfortunately for the other room their air conditioning didn't work for the first few days. Nikos was helpful in this case and called in a specialist but the girls had to move their own mattresses into a spare room to sleep for 2 nights. while it was being fixed. The security guard was also extremely rude and grumpy and every night when we came in we would tiptoe past him. The towels and sheets were not changed once during the entire week and a lot of us then incurred charges as we checked out due to this. Although we did have a few problems we thoroughly enjoyed our stay at Danelis never the less. Matt and Charlie at the bar were absolutely lovely, the pool was great and the rooms were basic but comfortable. I would recommend Danelis for the price we paid but our personal experience wasn't great due to the number of problems we had with management.

Everyone who enters Danelis makes us happy
Some when they arrive some when they leave
In Greece when we enter a bar or a pool bar we can’t have
Our own drinks for tax reason, we can’t prove that we dint sell
Drinks inside our bar when tax control come then we will have big
Penalty, all hotels have the same problem but all guests can have drinks and food
Inside the room they rent , rooms are for 2-6 persons not for 16
Balconies are for 4-6 person not for 16 is not safe ,all guests are informed on arrival day
For Danelis rules
Security had bad shift when he try to explain to 16 drunk people that
This is danelis hotel please don’t wake up other guest trying to sleep
5 o clock and is not allowed party for 16,
We do clean all rooms every day till 16:00 if someone wake up 17:00
Room will be cleaned next day, in reception can ask for towels 24 ours
We don’t like to charge no one is more work and time and bad reviews
On arrival day we do explain towel is 5 euro be careful on paint party don’t touch towels ….
For the girls room we are guilty yes was a problem we gave next door room for free
we try for everyone to have the best time some time we have success some time we don’t
but we keep trying xxxxxx

OVERBOOKED! Did not get our room.
Posted 11 Jul 2015
Cons: Would've been nice to get the room we actually paid for.
The hotel looked nice enough, but he clearly thought he could get away with overbooking and moved us to some cheap hotel across the street for the entire week and made no effort to communicate with us about the state of our room which supposedly had a problem with the electricity.

Great location!
Posted 21 Sep 2014
Pros: Location
Cons: Bed comfort
The only thing stopping me from giving the hotel 5 stars is that the beds were uncomfortable! Everything else was great! The owner of the hotel was lovely and welcoming and took us to his restaurant that he owns, Steki, a couple of towns over, which I would also highly recommend. The hotel is in a great location, only a few minutes walk from the strip and the pool at the hotel was clean and lovely.

Danelis studios and apartments
Posted 7 Aug 2015
Pros: Le lit
