The owner went out of his way to get me a fan for my room after front desk lady coldly said no she couldn’t provide a fan. Air conditioning could use some tlc. One front desk staff may not be the right fit for a customer service oriented job.

When I search for a hotel view this hotel stated ocean view. But you cannot see the ocean at all. Is about 10mnts from the pier

Staff was very friendly. Breakfast was great. Air conditioner leaked water soaking backpacks and beds were hard.

The property is walking distance to the ocean with locates of shops and places to eat.

Hotel was wonderful, staff were very friendly and accommodating. The Hermosa Beach seaside community has some great bars with good food and live music - very enjoyable stay!

While the overall property was average, the fact that the elevator was down for "maintenance" was a reflection on the franchise owner who obviously let the elevator "run to fair" in lieu of actually performing routine maintenance. The elevator had obviously broken or failed to pass county inspection. Elevator maintenance does not keep an elevator down for days
