Lovely host and attention to detail

Excellent venue in Hermanus
Posted 8 May 2022 on HotelsLavender Manor is very well appointed spacious clean with excellent hosts. Our stay was only one night could stay longer. Full breakfast was very appetising with fresh juice fruit and cooked how you like. Mistake on advertising with ‘detached bath and shower’. Should read ensuite bath and shower. Duchies restaurant is just wander away with sumptuous meals and superb service

Location, location, location
Posted 27 Nov 2019 on HotelsThis is a great place to stay - so well located for Grotto Beach, Dutchies, The Cliff Path, Hermanus Golf Club and the Fernkloof Reserve Trail. Isabel and Kobus are wonderful hosts and Eddie is so helpful. Breakfasts are great as well.

Lighting in bathroom poor.
Otherwise excellent. Lovely position, staff friendly, good breakfasts

Wonderful service
Posted 12 Sep 2019 on HotelsFantastic service- friendly and easy going. Personalised without being overbearing. A real skill to have. Enjoyed the wonderful terrace and breakfast. If there was one small downside, it would have to be the soft mattresses- making sleep slightly less comfortable. But for others a soft mattress may be a plus?

Very nice hotel but slightly off centre

The setting is great and Isabel and Kobus were very friendly hosts. It was like home away from home.
