Quaint Inn, watch your head
Posted 15 Aug 2024 on HotelsIt is just the kind of inn we imagined for our stay in Wales. They serve good food and drinks, have a good mix of friendly local and is very clean. Unfortunately the ceilings are too low for me in much of the inn, including parts of our second floor room. I am 6’ 6" so it might not bother others. All in all, I like the place giving it extra points for charm and atmosphere.

Thank you for your review. I imagine it was a little difficult at 6'6" as all of our ceilings are low. Part of the charm for us shorter people :-) Despite this we are glad you enjoyed your stay.

Surprising!
Posted 14 Jul 2024 on HotelsWrongly, our initial reaction was disappointment. The room was rather compact, it was upstairs and part of the ceiling was at such an angle one had to be very careful when going to the bathroom and getting into bed. Having said that it was spotless. The shower needed to run for quite sometime before getting hot but I think that was more to do with us not knowing how to work it currently. Family came to join us for dinner in the evening. We all really enjoyed our meals.
We were greeted on arrival by the host, he was very welcoming and friendly, as were all bar and restaurant staff we came into contact with at dinner. All in all a very enjoyable stay.

Friendly and Clean.

Great stay
