Lovely guesthouse in a beautiful location
Posted 15 Sep 2024 on HotelsLovely guesthouse with beautiful views and friendly staff. We had a great stay in a very comfortable, modernly decorated room. The house was old and traditional with lots of original character but updated to give a cosy, warm homely feel. We will definitely be back!!!

Our hosts were very welcoming.
Beautiful grand hallway and staircase: we really felt we were going somewhere!
The twin room we were in was clean and pleasant with its own private hallway. The bathroom was large and clean. I enjoyed a lovely hot shower.
The dining room was triple aspect with, not one, but two chandeliers. Views over the River Wye and to the fields and hills beyond.
Excellent selection for breakfast: a buffet of cereals, fruit and yoghurts and toast and preserves and hot food you choose the evening before.
