It was a last-minute reservation. By mistake we forgot to put toilet paper after preparing the apartment, however when guest requested, we have immediately brought two roles of toilet paper. There was enough liquid soap. We do not provide solid soap. Regarding shampoo, that is truth, we do not provide shampoo, but if guest asks for it, we always provide.

Gligo was a great host. When I arrived and asked about parking, he quickly rearranged his own car so I could park.
The view from the balcony is beautiful. We spent hours relaxing there to take in the sights and sounds of the water.

Pleasant, economic accommodation in Herceg Novi
Posted 11 Mar 2023 on HotelsI stayed in Herceg Novi as part of whistle stop tour of Montenegro. The manager of the guest house and his family were friendly, and welcoming. The suite/apartment I stayed in was comfortable, spacious, and had all the facilities needed for a brief stay. Furniture is more traditional than modern, but I was very comfortable, and it was clean.
Location wise it was a couple of minutes walk to the nearest restaurants, about 3-4 minutes walk to the bus station, and about 10 minutes walk to the centre of Old Town. The Spanish Castle was approximately a 15 minute climb/walk. The town, like the whole country, seemed safe, and I happily walked back to the Guest House after midnight.
Old Town had some nice restaurants, bars, and like everywhere I visited in Montenegro, people were friendly.
Overall I would say Herceg Novi is definitely worth a day of your time, and the Guest House is a good, economic option for accommodation.

This place is amazing. It is close to everything - old town, sea, shops, restaurants, bus station. Stunning view from the room. The spirit of heavenly Herceg Novi is right there. The room is actually a studio apartment. A compact kitchen has all you may need. Everything is perfectly clean. The host, Gligo Tomanovich, is such a nice gentleman, it was a pleasure to talk with him - like with a friend. I definitely recommend this place. Will come again.

Beautifully situated with convenient footpath leading down to town's main street and beaches. Well-equipped, staff pleasant and immediately helpful when needed. Nice mini-apartment with everything you need.

Absolutely superb place to stay in while exploring Herceg Novi! Great location, very clean, cozy, quiet, nice garden, beautiful view to the sea and the owner is such a lovely person. One of the easiest 10/10 I've ever given!
