"The hotel is overpriced. Looked better online than it really is. Still a great hotel, though. Clean and comfortable. The gym is not good, very basic and lacks weights. Same as the sauna - it wasn't even working most of the days I stayed there. The phone in the room wasn't working, so I couldn't call the receptionist anytime. The breakfast is VERY average and super overpriced, it also looked much better online than it truly is. The area though is amazing, very central and easy to get around. "

"I picked this hotel for a short sight seeing break just before Christmas. It is conveniently located near to Checkpoint Charlie and the U-bahn. The stay felt a little strange on arrival compared to many since there is no reception; it is all done via their website, app or WhatsApp, resulting in a pin code supplied before arrival. It all worked just fine for me, no issues getting to my room at all. There is a small lounge area inside the front door, but otherwise it is mostly just the rooms....

"The hotel was clean, quiet and somewhat convenient. A bit of walking is required to get around which was fine for us. Having a kitchen to use was great but we would’ve loved to have a microwave too and dishwasher would’ve been amazing. I did like that there is a laundry room you can use for free (byo detergent). "We had a large apartment on the top floor of the building, great views and a big outdoor patio which was really cool. (It was winter cold for us, but probably amazing to have in the summer.) One bedroom plus sofa bed, and two bathrooms, plus a very nice, well-equipped little kitchen area. About 2-3 blocks walk from the Hackescher Market train station, which we were ablate reach directly from the airport using the S-bahn train with no train changes. We again used that station later to keep going...

"Really lovely stay here. I'm very picky about beds and especially pillows and I was pleasantly surprised with their selection. Yes the double bed is 2 mattresses joined together but I'm used to a big bed at home and this means collectively the bed is much bigger than a double. I slept really well, which is unusual for me! The view from the suite was impressive and complimentary water appreciated after long days. Very handy location, we chose to walk along the river Spree to the Gate and other attractions just to take in the sights but the train could not be handier. From the airport it's a straight shot to Berlin central station hbf, the hotel it right outside. Quick note if you fancy a nice bottle to bring up to the room navigate to a Hit supermarket, fabulous selection and V cheap."

"We stayed in the hotel for a week and went into the city center from here. The room is not big, but apartman rooms are also available. The room is quiet and clean. If you are staying in the hotel for several days and want cleaning, you must notify the reception the day before. The breakfast is plentiful and adequate. The water pressure in the shower is strong, but you have to be careful with the hot water because it comes in pulses. We were on the 6th floor. The staff was nice, but the manager lady was not. The hotel is located next to the S-Bahn Grünbergalle station. The S-Bahn trains S9 and S45 stop here. On the other side of the stop there is a Netto store which is open from Monday to Saturday from 7am to 10pm, but there is also an Aldi store 5-6 minutes away on foot. I think this is a good hotel."

"Rooms were well maintained, excellent water pressure and general amenities. Efficient check in and check out. Staff were all lovely. Walls are a tiny bit thin if someone is making noise in the corridor but you typically don't hear noise from the other rooms"
