"We enjoyed the area. The chalet was well equipped unfortunately everything you touched was really greasy. The cooker top was discussing. We only used the fridge and kettle throughout our stay thankfully I had mugs with us. Lots of cobwebs and spiders and a slug or snail across the carpet every night. To enter the bathroom you had to go in sideways. The sink was full of shaver hairs and shaving foam the toothbrush holder hadn't been cleaned for months. The toilet brush would have made you sick...

"When i booked the property i was under the impression that the price on hotels.com was the price. We then had to pay extra for the dogs, extra for bedding and extra for electricity used. It would have been better if this was in the details of the booking before you confirm. When people are on a budget this could be hard for them. "On arrival it was very evident the caravan had not been cleaned for some time. Full stinking bin, bathroom was disgusting. Caravan smelt rancid. I immediately took photos and sent to owner who refunded us £30 which apparently is the cost of the cleaner! Not the best start to a weekend away having to clean up other people’s mess. "This caravan is so lush!!! Clean, tidy, neat and spacious!!! The veranda is an absolute sun trap ALL day!!!! And I mean all day!!! Very well located and easy to find on the site. The owner Carl communicates quickly. Defo booking again!! Bonus that you can book a few days rather than the usual caravans that you have to book in week blocks. Winner for me and my solo trips"

"To be honest on arrival, from the outside we wasn't expecting much. But as I've always been told " never judge a book by it's covers" the hotel lobby and the downstairs were very pleasing on the eye.... We had a standard double suite, and on opening the door, loved it, it's was clean, beautifully decorated, and the bathroom.... What can I say a double shower and a extra large bath! The bed was comfortable,the price we paid for what we got were very acceptable, then there was the additional bonus of a free breakfast. I have read quite a few reviews for this hotel and personally cannot understand where you are coming from. We have booked for Christmas "

Great location and value for money

"Ideally located right next to the main area of Skegness for easy access to the beach, rides, bars and arcades. Overall nice and clean place with easy access via the key box. Room is basic but comfortable, shower was terrible, but that's the only thing that let it down really. For the price paid I would definitely stay again. "

"I have stayed at this resort many times and it always serves me well. Set in beautiful grounds on a lovely golf course with splendor of wildlife, landscape and flora, even the hardest to please couldn't crack a frown at this retreat. The building is charmed in character, the staff at utmost professional and efficient, the spa, pool and gym facilities are second to none. As for the rooms, they are spacious, nicely decorated and furnished to high standards with full AC and blacked out curtains, the restaurant is lovely and the bar and adjoining garden area where you can also eat is well manicured and has a fantastic vista. You will not be disappointed and the vfm is incredible."
