Road a bit noisy at night. Bedsprings creaked. No towel hooks in bathroom. Nothing major was wrong and it was clean!

Best little retro motel
Posted 23 Mar 2024 on HotelsCute place! No frills but we justed needed one night. The room was a 50s retro style, and extremely clean. There was a magnifier mirror in the main mirror for us older folks. The hot water and pressure was sublime! I would recommend a stay at Hodler if needing a stop in Heavener Ok.We ate at the Southern Belle right across the street. Good food and its a cute little train car!

The rooms had a cute retro look. Our room was clean, and the staff was friendly. We will definitely stay there again if we are in that area.

Heaven in Heavener

Nice room - that it!!!
Posted 12 Nov 2023 on HotelsReception area dank - very hard to understand people - one key, couldn't get them to understand I wanted 2 - asked for 2 extra towels and was very hard to get and they didn't like me getting them - vending machine empty and not working - no refund for any reason, unheard of - warned about $250 for smoking - room had list of everything you have to pay for if taken - pillows had electronic finders in them - I've stayed in Motel 6 for less money that was better overall.

vending machine we not fill since it is not worth it put since Dollar store next to the motel and Guest going there to buy what they need it is cheaper there getting from vending machine and it is working but it is unplug . Yes there is smoking fees 250 because people smoke in non smoking room and when same room given to other guest who is non smoker they have complaint about being smell like a smoke so that is why that is sign is there so people not smoke in the room. No refund policy is there when you book with Expedia online. if you are not trusting the place you going to stay then not book online just stop by and check it out and if you like it than you can stay or move on to place you like . when you book third party it is cost more to you then what it cost at hotel direct. most of all hotel have sign on smoking fees now and also item list if people take or damage because it is also cost us to replace and that cost also and we charge high in room rate then person like you have complaint about it. we are not printing towel or money of our own which allow us to continue operating business with loss we have to pay our bill to keep door open. yes person who asked the towel from not speaking English but he able to get you a towel that is what matters. this review more kind smelling like issue with the person who own a hotel then hotel . you booked it online thinking about owner of X and when you come to hotel you find out that owner is Y and you have to write all this. our place is way better then Motel 6 and any place better then motel 6 will cost you more money . if you cant spend more then just find motel 6 or that level hotel better fit for you.

Okay stay.
Posted 11 Nov 2023 on HotelsStay was just okay as the bed was not very comfortable and kept being awakened by people coming and going next door all night long. Thin walls. Just stayed the night before hitting the Ouachita Trail so needed a good restful night and that did not happen. Place was clean and updated.

Thank you for your comment. wall is not thin it is standard which hotel have . you may be quite sleeper so next time book direct and asked for back side room since we have Railroad crew stay with us and they will be in and out any time of day and night .
