The power was cut by PG&E for a period of time without any pre-warning during our stay. This was known but the hotel didn't let guests know in advance. Not sure why.

I sincerely apologize that the ball was dropped regarding the planned PG&E Power Outage that affected power onsite from 8:30 AM - 12:00 PM on the second day of your stay. While we did attempt to send an email to you using the encrypted email address that Expedia provies us for all reservations that originate with them, it appears that the email may have not made it all the way over to you. All guests that stayed over that Tuesday received proper notification in advance and I received no other complaints of this sort, so regrettably it looks like your reservation may have slipped through the cracks. Trust me when I say that these power outages are never ideal for anyone involved, but a necessity when it comes to the safety of our community being out in the more rural side of Healdsburg, so I do appreciate your understanding during this unfortunate incident, and do trust that at the very minimum you were provide with a note upon arrival by our Estate Ambassador team alerting you to the power outage.It is my hope that despite this inconvenience, you enjoyed other aspects of our property such as the five-star service from our team members and the incredible amount of detail that went into the overall aesthetic and feel of our Estate. Great location, well kept. Room was great. only con was slow service due to a wedding taking place on property.

As expressed in my texts to you yesterday morning, I was really hoping to have the opportunity to connect with you in person or over the phone yesterday to discuss the concerns that you addressed shortly before checking out as I believe there may have been some misunderstandings. My number one mission as our Director of Guest Experience is transparancy and honesty when it comes to all aspects of our guest's experience at our property, and ensuring that each and every one of our guests has nothing but a five-star experience from pre-arrival to post-stay. I've included some follow up on the concerns raised below to provide some context and hopefully clear up any confusion. Upon checking you in on Saturday evening, it appeared to me that you and your guest truly enjoyed your room. I enjoyed our conversation about your recently-constructed home and the desire to add on heated tile floors; those really are such a special treat and unique detail that our guests enjoy. However, I noticed in your text yesterday that there was an expectation that your room had a fireplace in it. Had it been noted either before your stay or upon check in with me that you preferred a room with a fireplace, I would have gladly moved you to an available room with one. I have since left notes on your guest profile, should you wish to stay with us in the future, to ensure that we block you in a room with a fireplace per your request. In addition, while it is true that we offer specific rates on our website that offer a late checkout, these are always based on availability and not guaranteed due to the boutique size of our property. Also, like with many hotels in our area, in order to take advantage of that perk, the specific package (the Date Night package is the current rate that offers this perk) would need to be booked directly through our website and not through an online travel agency such as Expedia which was the case with this booking. Despite this, I understood the importance based on your text of staying later on property and worked with my Housekeeping team to make an exception for you under these circumstances. I encourage you to reach out to me personally if you choose to stay with us again as I would be more than happy to review pricing and availability with this package and, based on our occupancy at your checkout day, work with you to discuss the possibility of a late checkout. Neither the team member who you connected with at 9 AM on your check in day, nor I, ever guaranteed a late checkout, but we both personally apologize if this wasn't clear in our conversations with you at the Front Desk. In terms of needing to be moved from the rear parlor at 9:30 AM on Saturday night, this definitely raised some concerns on my end, so I spoke with the Restaurant Manager who informed you about the need to set up that
