A hidden gem. Lovely welcome from Connie, who is a fantastic hostess. Accomm is convenient for Kruger Park with two gates close by. The location is quiet and beautiful with a pool and gardens. Breakfast was very good Would definitely stay again if in the area

This is our 3rd time coming to Idle and Wild. It is a very romantic spot for us. Each rondavel has it's own private feel, like the setting is just for you. Beautiful gardens, pool, and room.

Great base in the Hazyview area

We booked a honeymoon rondavel, and appreciated the extra space this gave, including kitchenette and braai/bbq facilities. The gardens make for a wonderful setting and we enjoyed relaxing at the poolside. Next to a macadamia nut farm, next door’s upmarket farm shop sold great macadamia ice creams and produce. Owners and staff were very welcoming and we have no hesitation in recommending this as a base from which to have easy access to Kruger National Park and explore the area.

Fantastic

Due to flight cancellation, arrived just before 1 am and woke Conrad up , could not have been nicer despite the time. Great stay great location and beautiful farm. Will be back thanks

Kind staff, Comfortable room, Wonderful garden

Kind staff There was a really thankful story at Idle & wild. When I was going to Hotel from Johannesburg we were so late and getting dark. What makes the matter worse, two of the car tire was punctured by big Potholes. I call the Rental company, they said can give another car tomorrow morning. My family and I was so scary with prospect of staying in the car all night. I asked to the hotel, just grasping at straws. Two of hotel staff came to us quickly, and fixed everything. So, My family and I want to thank to them. Comfortable room, Wonderful garden, Perfect location Needless to say Idle & wild is wonderful place to stay with anyone family, friends etc… The room was warm and cosy and clean. Breakfast also good. You can get every information about near hotel and Kruger National Park from reception. And located near to tourist attractions, such as Kruger National Park, God’s Window, Echo Cave, Bourke’s Luck Potholes etc… I highly recommend Idle & wild, I will restay at the hotel next time. 요하네스버그에서 크루거 국립공원으로 갈때 이 호텔을 이용했습니다. 도로 사정이 좋지 않아 많은 포트홀이 있었습니다. 큰 포트홀을 만나 두개의 타이어가 동시에 터져버려 크게 당황했습니다. 그때 영사관과 렌트카업체 등 여러곳에 전화를 했는데, 큰 도움을 받지 못했습니다. 마지막으로 전화한 호텔측에서 타이어를 교체해주고 차를 견인해주는 등 많은 도움이 됐습니다. 실제 차가 서있는 도중에 강도로 보이는 차량이 접근을 시도했지만, 호텔에서 온 두명의 직원들이 보호해주어 여행을 무사히 잘 마칠 수 있었습니다. 남아공이 여행하기에 위험하다는 이야기 많이 들어보셨을겁니다. 하지만 이렇게 친절한 호텔을 미리 예약해 두신다면 만약의 상황에서 저희 가족처럼 큰 도움을 받으실 수 있을겁니다. 그리고 호텔도 물론 매우 만족스럽습니다.

Cottages in Hazyiew

Einfache und günstige Cottages. Wir hatten 2 Schlafzimmer Cottages. Betten waren gefühlt so alt wie das Cottages. Insgesamt sehr in die Jahre gekommenes Cottage (Küchenzeile, Sanitär). Wahrscheinlich war Hunde oder Katzenbesitzer vorher Gast was leider an den Sitzgelegenheiten sichtbar war, oder es wir der Hund des Hauses. Schön ist der Kamin im Wohnraum. Besitzer sind sehr rührig und versuchen zu helfen wo es geht. Wer einfache günstige große Unterkunft sucht, ist gut beraten.

Très bon séjour

Nous avons eux la chance de séjourner dans cet hôtel 3 jours. L’hôtel, la chambre, le cadre et surtout les personnes de l’accueil tout a été parfait. Rapport qualité prix il n’y a pas photo je conseille vivement cet endroit.

Idle & Wild is a small piece of paradise. This is highlighted by the amazing service and care you receive. The location is beautiful and very relaxing. The bungaloos are amazing, including some that have a private hot tub. The rooms are very clean and very comfortable. This is a place to just go and relax and just stay there. Sadly we were there only one night, but could have stayed there a week just to relax. They make you a custom breakfast every morning. Beyond amazing.

Eine wunderschöne grüne Oase

Das "Idle & Wild" ist eine wunderschöne grüne Oase in der Nähe von Hazyview und man kann wunderbar dort relaxen! Das Hotelteam ist super und kümmert sich indviduell um die Gäste und man fühlt sich wie zu Hause. Die Zimmer der Rondvells sind sehr sauber und gemütlich. WLAN findet man an der Rezeption! In einem Kilometer gibt es den "Tanks Bush Pub" mit super leckeren Burgern und sehr guten Preisen! Wir kommen wieder!

Fabulous location with great service

It’s our 2nd visit and loved it just as much despite there being a power cut. The service is really friendly and attentive and Ziggy and Bailey add to it too! Peaceful and yet not far to restaurants and shops.

Fantastic!!!

It was absolutely fantastic!!! Everyone is so hospitable and the surroundings were fantastic! We regrettably only stayed there for one night but wish we would have stayed longer!!!
