The meals were poor , I did not have a choice, macaroni with fried tomatoes for an evening meal terrible, I was told that fish was on the menu I never got fish, so the next night I went and got myself a takeaway, not happy with what I was being offered, I wound not stay here again

Our apologies, Charlie. There was a little breakdown in communication as I had been absent for personal reasons and macaroni cheese with roasted tomatoes was something I could whip up without a run to the shops. It was a busy few days with 8 guests staying and we were accommodating an early breakfast for half of these due to the local event you came for.Just for balance, we also received the following review from another guest staying at the same time:"Amanda and Simon are fantastic hosts who are very friendly and welcoming, and will go the extra mile to ensure your stay is a comfortable one. The place is very clean and the breakfast was plentiful and tasty. I will definitely be staying again and would not hesitate to recommend."
