"Staff was excellent in all respects; very responsive to requests. Rooms were clean and pleasant, if a bit small. Note that our room did not have exterior windows, and based on the layout, I'm guessing many/most of the rooms were like this. However, the rooftop lounge was very pleasant for hanging out if you wanted some fresh air and a view. The included breakfast was good. My only real criticism was that the area immediately around the hotel was not great — definitely not super clean and noisy...

"Casa Marabú was a wonderful experience. A nice place in a quiet, clean, secure neighborhood, close to a grocery store, coffee shop and the Malecon (the waterfront). Our hosts Tania and Andy were good communicators and were very reliable with the things we needed while there. "

"It was such an amazing property! The host Dayana and her husband were so helpful with anything we need throughout the whole trip, they’re great! Beautiful 4 bedroom apartment directly in front of the Malecón with ocean view, breathtaking views all around in each room and patio. The whole apartment was remodeled to an upscale modern look. Cleanliness was spectacular with housekeeping daily. Wi-Fi had great service which was a great benefit. I will definitely be staying here again once I come...

The absolute best stay in Vedado, Havana!

"I can not express my gratitude enough for all the staff at El Candil! I just got back from our destination wedding in Cuba and stayed here for two nights, I did my rehearsal dinner at the rooftop bar/lounge and did all my wedding prep here as well. The food was delicious, as well as the drinks. Words cannot express how grateful, magical and exemplary our stay was. Whenever we visit Cuba again, we will stay here. No other place I’d rather be than at the Candil Boutique Hotel. A special thanks and shout out to Rosabel, Guiomar, Yanetxy, Nestor, Joel, Jaqueline, and Miguel.
