I booked a premium room and the pictures were different from the room that we received. We open the door to the room and it leads to a sink and a bathroom. There is a balcony inside the bathroom (shower area) and a small loft with a bed on the top. The bed was uncomfortable and we couldn't stay in the room. Wifi was almost non existent. Only plus point was it was walkable area. Wouldn't recommend. Only stay if you speak spanish and want to get charged for breakfast at the end of your stay. No one informed us - and we were charged $95 - with no breakdown of the charges.

The pictures published on Expedia match 100% with the room you stayed in. We do have two Pre m ium Rooms and you reserved one of them and never ask to your team to change your room.The issue of English is surprising to me in your message because it was precisely you who, since your arrival, had spoken to us in Spanish, a language that we adopted from that moment on for our communication during your stay, as requested by the majority of foreign clients who come to our country loving our language and trying to perfect it.Finally, I'd like to specify that on the site where you made your reservation it is clear that the house breakfast is guaranteed, representing an extra cost, so you were always aware of this detail.Once again I appreciate your comment although I absolutely disagree with it. Anyhow we will taking into account any point for you detailed with the sole interest of developing our product and improving our customer comfort.

Posted 13 Oct 2023 on HotelsBeautiful building with hight ceilings, very good breakfast. Street is very noisy and dirty unfortunately.
Location is great and place Vieja is a must! Havana would need a very good water pressure clean this would make a huge difference for tourists.

Comfortable/convenient location, very kind staff

Great facility, not so great location
Posted 4 Jun 2023 on HotelsRoom was clean, spacious and looked just like the pictures. Room had a minibar stocked with cold water and other cold beverages, which were reasonably priced.
The host was very helpful in arranging taxis.
Located steps away from Plaza Vieja tourist attraction.
Just a note, rooms are located upstairs so you will have to carry your luggage up a flight of very narrow stairs.
Overall the room and facility is clean, spacious, and comfortable. Unfortunately because the facility is located in a residential area, the locals party ALL NIGHT long. There was loud music blaring and loud voices ALL NIGHT. Sleeping was impossible😔

Dear John,It's really frustrating that the site allows a client that NEVER stayed in our property to make this kind of evaluation because the rest of the clients could be confused. Balconies Habana Vieja is a really great place for you to stay in Cuba but please, try to have all the regular documentation for your next trip.Unfortunately you arrived to Cuba without a Visa, also with no money to pay it locally and immigration authorities took the decision they considered the best. They called us around 02hrs00 ( I mean: out of the regular assistance time) and never give us your name, indeed they let us know what was happening, they was asking for a Hotel, when we let them know that we were a Casa Particular or Hostal they finished their call.We don't agree you evaluation. We also understand that this was a really bad experience for you but believe me. It was not our fault. You room was ready and clean, the hostess was waiting for you with his hand on his heart but you never arrived. Regards,

A wonderful casa in Havana!

They were especially generous with fresh fruit, bread, perked coffee, fresh guava juice and an egg with cheese and meat. And all the staff were quite helpful. We loved our stay at Los Balcones! ¡Muchas gracias por su hospitalidad!
