Staff were pleasant and friendly. Rooms needed a bit of a spring clean. Breakfast was good. Good price, but rooms were a bit disappointing.

Facilities at this property need to be freshened up. The downstairs rooms have a very small window, feeling more like a prison cell than a hotel room. Also had a problem with smoking odors in the building. There must be other better options in this area.

The view from our room was spectacular. It was advertised that they had the restaurant for dinner, but it was closed.

Decent for the price, no frills.

Decent place for the cost. Smelled of smoke when walking in. The rooms/place is super basic, no frills. We used this as a 1/2 way place from germany to Paris.

Good location for visiting monuments

Posted 26 Dec 2018 on Hotels
This is no-frills, but a great location for visiting the Verdun battlefield and monuments, if you have a car. Parking is plentiful and free, quite unlike downtown Verdun. I think some people have complained about confusion at the front desk over whether their room was paid in advance, and I ran into a little bit of this confusion myself at checkout, but it wasn’t bad intentions on their part. Just keep a screenshot or your verification email handy showing you paid your room in advance, in case there’s any question.

Hotel Priveledge

It took a while to find because we put Verdun in the sat.nav. But when we put the village name in we found it easily. It was a very pretty hotel from the outside. Inside was very pleasant too. We had a lovely meal with little extras supplied by the host. Breakfast was good. The room was small but adequate for a one night stay and the linen was fresh and clean.

Hôtel Le Privilège, Verdun, France

Working on places where my Grandfather was during WW1. Have stayed here before. Small easy access, Food very good. Some of staff speak English, rooms are NOT large, do not expect to entertain in room, beds are ok, but than you are not paying outlandish amounts to sleep. Will most likely stay here again.
