"We stayed for 11 days. Great access to 7/11, train station and restaurants in the area. The hotel staff were friendly and nice. The room I stayed in was a one bed, 3 futon room. The carpet was stained, the futon had stains along with the comforter, the bed mattress had stains. We had a drip bucket right outside our door that was collecting water from thre leaving roof that smelled everyday we passed it. The hot water worked the first day and we called for assistance on day 9 for hot...

"The place was near restaurants. We walked and chose where we ate. The area was quiet the place was not that clean to our standards but it’s okay. There was a washing machine if you want to wash your clothes and you can dry the clothes a small balcony. Nobody at the check in counter all communication were in the iPad. It would be nice if there is an easy way to communicate with somebody like in our case that we extended the check out time. Maybe the iPad at the counter can be used for that...

"Upon arrival, there was no one in the office, nor was there during any time of our stay to let you in. The owner did not give us a code code until I was able to find a payphone get a hold of him and get the code. Not sure why they don’t give you code when you book."

"Room was very clean and complete with laundry and kitchenette. 7/11 and a tax free shop was nearby. Also a 5 minute walk to Iriya station. Would stay here again! "

"I cannot say enough good things about this place. The email arrived when it was supposed to, the codes worked, the staff were on hand and super friendly and helpful - from helping us with the washing machine to the AC...awesome customer service. They even had complimentary toothbrushes, pjs and slippers. Great selection of shops for food nearby. The only down side was the walk from the train or metro was a good 750 m - our fault for not checking."

"We stayed in the queen suite as a treat for our holiday and loved it. The room was spacious, well appointed and comfortable. The outside bath tub was a great luxury, even though the indoor bathroom was more than enough to treat us. The staff were helpful and pleasant. The location is bustling with shops and transport links so you will not need to go looking for shopping or eateries. Our room was self-catered so we shopped for groceries instead. "Check in was a hassle coz there is no one to help. Self check in and took me half an hour to find my reservation. It kept saying I have no reservation. All communications are done through email. No actual person to ask if you have problems. When you call the number listed on the desk, it says the number is not in service."

We included breakfast for our stay which was delicious every time. The views of the city are wonderful. The comforter was a little heavy and warm, we only wish there was a top sheet to cover up when it got hot. Our view from the window, you could see so much of Tokyo. Overall an excellent stay! "

Fall Tokyo Visit

"Great place to stay right in the heart of shinjuku. Easy to get to and close to a lot of attractions including Nichome (the lgbtq neighborhood). We included breakfast for our stay which was delicious every time. The views of the city are wonderful. The comforter was a little heavy and warm, we only wish there was a top sheet to cover up when it got hot. Our view from the window, you could see so much of Tokyo. Overall an excellent stay! "

"This hotel is close to JR lines and metro subway. It’s an old town so doesn’t have escalator or elevator from the station. Can take taxi to the hotel at an affordable price from Tabata station(JR) or Nish-Nippori(subway). Overall, spacious and a great city view from the hotel."
