A great value, you get a clean room, nice and helpful staff, breakfast was great, and nice to have the public baths. A few restaurants within 5 min walk.

City not recommended for holiday
Posted 28 Oct 2016 on HotelsThis stay was just a one night stay for a business trip. As this area is a small city, there were not many options for hotels, so practicality was the main purpose and this hotel was next to the Hashima Gifu Shinkansen station which we needed to use to get to Tokyo.

Great location, but beds were hard.

Pros: Location. It's right outside the Gifu train station. The breakfast buffet was good.
Cons: Beds were harder than a rock. We slept because we were exhausted, but it wasn't all that comfortable.
Location: We never did any exploring of the area because we spent all of our time going to the F1 race. We basically just slept at the hotel.
We loved the location. It was one stop on the Shinkansen from Nagoya, and the train going that way was always pretty empty. It was a great way for us to decompress after dealing with all the crowds and hustle and bustle. Gifu is a small station with a great little restaurant and convenience store. We liked the fact that it was small and not so crowded. We were there for the F1 race, and it worked out well. The hotel itself was just so-so, but it was clean and the staff was great.

決して広いと言えないお部屋でしたが、綺麗で整頓されていて快適に過ごすことが出来ました。
朝ごはんも考えられていてとっても美味しく頂きました。
