"They gave me a free upgrade to a room with a view of the Rhine. The breakfast buffet was the best I've had at any European hotel. They had a designated machine only for hot chocolate, and the cocoa was so good I drank three cups. There was also a smoothie maker. Also, just a 10-minute walk to the Drachenfelsbahn."

"It's a colourful hotel, situated by the river, only about a 10 minutes walk from the city center. We had a generally pleasant stay, we were even able to watch the Euro 24 final on the rooftop bar. We stayed in room 135 on the ground floor with a view towards a back street so not memorable. The room was clean and spatious. "This was my third stay at this hotel and again I was very satisfied with the cleanliness, the friendliness of the staff and the convenient location. The breakfast buffet is excellent. The only thing I would say is that the decor in the rooms is a bit tired and faded and needs updating. But I would very much recommend this hotel. "

"I really loved my stay here and the restaurant on the roof is lovely. There is construction work outside which is annoying but it's not the fault of the hotel. The rooms are great and there are lots of quirky characteristics to the hotel itself. I would definitely stay here again and recommend it."
