For the price, this was good. If all you want is the basics and you don't want to spend alot, this is a good chioce. The room was fairly clean except for a bit of a musty smell, but a $2 can of air freshener took care of that quickly. The frond desk staff could have been a little more friendly and the "continental" breakfast was microwaved eggs and sausage every day but it was free. Again, for the price, if all you want is a place to sleep with no frills, this was a good value.

Staff was standoffish. Halls were littered with toilet paper. Breakfast bar was not properly replenished.

I have stayed here a few times now and it has become my go to location when I am in the Hilton Head/Savannah area. It is the epitome of affordability meets required needs. I'm not looking for fancy amenities or shuttle services. A safe, clean room with a friendly Staff to address other needs in a convenient location to the highway, immediately between Hilton Head and Savannah. That's what I'm looking for. And that's exactly what you will find there. They're listed as a 2-Star but they are 3.5-Star easily. Commendations are in order.

I travel often and have lived in both the Hilton Head and Charleston areas. I often stay in properties off of I-95 because they are more affordable. That said, I normally, in advance, accept that I will have to deal with certain aspects based upon that affordability. I did not have to accept such shortcomings with this stay. Everything was exceptional and I was more than satisfied with my time there. The only aspect, which management probably could not have controlled, was another guest's barking dog, which seemed to happen each time the guests left the room. But that will not prevent me from booking future stays with this property. I would and will recommend this location to all of my colleagues.
