Nice and cosy
Posted 29 Dec 2020 on HotelsThe hotel is cosy and situated by the sea. The breakfast is also very good. Sadly the hotel room air-conditioner was very loud and we had to keep it off whereas the room was exceptionally cold and affecting our sleep. As it is an animal friendly hotel, I would recommend it to other pet owners.

I'm sorry to hear that your sleep wasn't as good as expected. We're aware of the noise problem with our hotel and looking ways to get them working more quietly, also we're in process of replacing the thermostats for more accuracy for desired room temperatures.

Good service and breakfast, spa disappointment
Posted 8 Dec 2020 on HotelsGood service and tasty breakfast, but the bed was too soft and the pikkows gave no support so we slept very bad. Also felt hoaxed to have to pay 25€ to go to the Spa which had one big pool and one small pool, there could be i.e. a cold pool as well or even a possibility to take a dip in the ocean. Also a jacuzzi would be good to have. Felt like we paid 25€ per person to go to a basic swimming hall (uimahalli). And to top it all, they’d charged 10€ per person for the bath robes. Sorry, but I did not recommend this to my friends.

Thank you for ur feedback and I'm glad you felt that our service was pleasant. Going into the other points you felt we have space for improvement (and I know we do). I've to look into the beds and pillows to have an option to offer in case more supporting pillows etc is needed. I've recently started in my role and it's my responsibility to make sure our operations are improving all the time.
What comes to the Spa, you're right that it's missing key elements which we'll improve in a future. Our mission was to make Hanko Spa town again and we've an investment plan to make extensions and improvements, did you try our massages and beauty treatments? We're running a marathon with this and I truly hope that in a future your stay will be more pleasant.

Hotel was clean and nice. Location is superb! We din't have chance try spa. But it did look really nice.
