Excellent location! Close to metro and walking distance to Naritasan where all the shops and restaurants are located. Very friendly and helpful staff. Only downside is that guests have to pay for VOD.

The service at this hotel was not up to standard. Check-in starts at 2 PM, but when we arrived around 3:30, we were given our room key only to find the room still being cleaned. We ended up waiting outside the room for nearly 20 minutes. Having stayed at numerous hotels in Japan, this is the first time I’ve encountered such an issue, which is unacceptable in the hospitality industry. There are plenty of other options near the Richmond Hotel. If I decide to stay here again in the future, I sincerely hope this doesn’t happen again.

The hotel was great and offered a morning shuttle to Narita Airport!

It’s only the shuttle bus service to the airport. I was told that it’s full when I tried to book the shuttle for next early morning to the airport. Then I have to either take a cab or take the train which I did. It would be nice if they have a bigger bus or more bus to the airport during rush hour. Thanks
