Bed skirt had what appeared to be brown spattered stains that could have been coffee or bodily fluids. Comforter had a big stain, and the bathroom smelled of urine. Mirrors and shower were dirty as well.
Didn’t even unpack our bags, checked out after 5-10 minutes in the room and booked a different hotel.
Was told it was up to the manager if we’d get a refund and he wasn’t there.

The room was clean and large. Some minor upkeep issues (for example, the desk chair has a loose arm rest and the hydraulic lift would not keep the chair up). The temperature of the pool water was too cold. The equipment in the gym does not appear to be maintained (for example, the cables on the weight machine are stripped and appear that they could snap at any time).

I will let the Maintenance staff know about the Gym equipment as well and the chair that was in the room. I used my Expedia points to stay over this hotel 1 night. I was going up to Maine to take my sister to one of her appointments because she has cancer. I tried to look online for a 1/2 way point and came up with Best Western Plus the Inn @ Hampton. When we got to the room, it had a horrible stench to it, the carpet was falling apart, and the wallpaper was falling off the wall. This property was a great overnight find. Much much bigger than we anticipated w/the private bedroom and 2 queen beds in the main room. Worked out great, we even got laundry done while kids slept w/o having to keep them up.
