Amanda checked me in and she was lovely! Very kind and helpful. This hotel is right off the freeway which is nice. And a short drive to many things around the area, including downtown hammond which was easy to navigate. Their little coffee shops and business were nice! There’s a great running/biking path and park 1 min drive. Views were great! Would absolutely stay again with my dogs!

Staff was in the room and smelt like cigarettes when we arrived. The smell of smoke came in through bathroom ventilations.

Thank you for letting us know about your disappointing stay. Indiana is a non smoking in hotels, state. We are mandated to provide a smoke free environment. Despite signage both on our registration, and throughout the building, we occassionally have guests who do not follow the rules. When guest flaunt the rules, they make thinks bad for our guests, staff and building. I am so very sorry to hear of your experience and hope you will give us another opportunity whenever travel plans bring you back to NW Indiana.
