This hotel is located at an extremely convenient location that is right next to Reeperbahn street with great choice of dining and adult entertainment. It is also walking distance to fisher market where you can have a relaxing walk with great view at port of Hamburg. Underground transit station is located 50 meters away from the hotel and we feel very safe during the stay.

Staff were lovely and the hotel, rooms, beds, everything inside, very clean. Breakfast was good and there were lots of options. It's not the most upscale neighbourhood and being very close to Reeperbahn, there are some people living on the street. They are not aggressive and I never felt unsafe, even very late and walking alone (female). Plenty of drunk party people around as it's that kind of neighbourhood. Close to the S Bahn, so very easy to get around.

There is no safe, fridge or coffee machine in the room. The side tables were full of dust. The bathroom had only two towels even though we were 3 people. There were only two pillows. I asked the reception to bring another pillow and it never came. There is no phone to contact reception, you have to go to level 1 in person all the time. Sometimes there are long lineups of people checking in. Very inconvenient.

Prizeotel - St Pauli.
The hotel is very clean and facilities are good for a low cost hotel, breakfast buffy was very good, although a cold buffet there was plenty of choice, I would not say the bar had many redeeming features, it was very bright and soulless, but I deal for quick drink before going out. There is no restaurant in the evening, but plenty of burger joints nearby. It is close to the red night district but there is no feeling of being unsafe, staff were good, and my request of an early check in was honoured as they had a room available on my arrival at midday, at no cost, normally check in is 15:00. There is a Lidl next door for any quick supplies you might need.
