Had to stay here after our flight was cancelled. Excellent hotel, outstanding breakfast choices and pool was a hit for the children

Disappointing Stay at Marriott Hamburg
Posted 8 Oct 2024 on HotelsThe hotel is going through renovations in certain areas. Our executive room had just been completed and was pristine and very clean. However the normal executive lounge was still being renovated and we were directed to a temporary lounge next to the breakfast area. Unfortunately because this arrangement reduced capacity during breakfast it created long queues during the peak period in the morning and despite the efforts if staff people were eating breakfast in the bar areas and in the temporary executive lounge. I feel the hotel should have advised at the time we booked that renovations were planned during our visit as we may have considered changing the timings if our travels through Germany.
