"Lovely little property located in a quaint village:) Staff members were super friendly on arrival and the whole check in/out process was smooth. The property has a lot of charm but needs a little tlc. The bathroom is basic and shower not great but the rest of the facilities in the room were good. The bed was a little on the hard side and very squeaky. Overall a good stay and for what we paid we were happy :) thank you x"

"The Milking Parlour is a hidden gem set in wonderful surroundings in the country ,but just a short drive from the park and ride into York, I received a detailed text message on how to find it and where to park. The cottage itself is extremely clean and comfortable with a lovely bathroom and bath and the beds give a great nights sleep. Car park was full, even early, but council parking literally across the road was cheaper anyway (albeit less secure). Location is a bit of a walk into town, but we just got a cab anyway.
