NO REWARDS if you stay here
Posted 2 Nov 2023 on HotelsThe stay was OK, except the internet on our floor was not working (acknowledged by the reception, but not fixed).
The big complaint is that, despite emails sent, the hotel never reported the stay to Hotels.com, and hence we have still not received our bonus stamps for the two nights.
Since this was not reported even after a reminder email, I conclude that the behavior is intentional, so if you are collecting rewards you should AVOID THIS HOTEL!

I dont recommend this hotel to anyone .
Posted 17 Dec 2019 on HotelsI have found a black widow spider in my room just near the bed. Those types of spiders are poisonous. I have asked hotel reception lady to change my room but she refused then someone came claimed to be a manager start shouting and asking me to leave the hotel. I was shocked as i was looking for a solution and donot want a headche .This hotel is a nightmare . The lady was polite but the manager was extremly rude and non professional. Then he called the police which did nothing more than asking me to claim this with the booking company and leave the hotel . I donot recommend this hotel to anyone.
I have changed the hotel to another one in the same area .

Diese Darstellung entspricht nicht der Wahrheit. Eine giftige Spinne, die schwarze Witwe, ist wohl kaum in Europa in einem Hotel vorstellbar. Die hier vorhandene Spinne wurde von einem Mitarbeiter mit der Hand entfernt . Leider sprechen Sie auch nicht von ihren aggressiven Verbalattacken mit andauernden "Respect"-Ausrufen und den damit einhergehenden Drohungen: "Du kommst auf eine schwarze Liste und ich mach dich platt!". Daraufhin wurde die Polizei gerufen und sie wurden aus dem Hotel ausgewiesen.

The hotel reception staff was not friendly, room facility is very bad, no air-condition and no fan can be provided, it was terrible warm when we stayed.

Sehr geehrter Gast, ich habe durchaus Verständnis für Sie. Ja, es waren Temperaturen bis kurz vor 40 Grad und das ist wirklich eine unerträgliche Situation. Aber bitte geben Sie den Sachverhalt dann auch korrekt wieder: Sie hatten ein Doppelzimmer für 2 Personen gebucht, reisen aber mit 4 Personen an, was es nicht einfacher macht. Sie beschweren sich dann darüber, dass Sie zuzahlen müssen, sagen, dass die Rezeption unfreundlich ist - sorry, dafür fehlt mir dann wiederum das Verständnis. Dann alles in der Bewertung nur darauf abzustellen, findet das gesamte Team des Parkhotels sehr fragwürdig.

When no taxi was available to take me to the train station, the manager gave me a free ride himself.

Pros: Mostly everything, but especially the breakfasts
Cons: Nothing
Location: Halberstadt is a pleasant town with most amenities... There are many prettier villages close by and towards the Harz mountains. IKEA is 100km away !!
Stayed at this hotel to visit grandchildren, its position is an easy walk into the centre of Halberstadt, in a quiet street and faces a small park. Busy at the weekend, not so (but not dead) during the week. Friendly helpful staff. Quiet 'superior' room (which we requested) was comfortable and in a good state of repair. WiFi worked perfectly most of the time.
We would certainly stay here again (at the right price).

It worked fine in the lobby and was suppised to work in the room but our signal kept dropping. Other than that, really pretty hotel, nice room that overlooked the garden, good breakfast and well oriced.

Excellent Hotel
Posted 7 Oct 2014Stayed at this hotel three nights. The hotel staff was excellent and the room was outstanding. The breakfast was great, too. A very quite place in Halberstadt to stay.

Great Getaway
Posted 5 Jul 2013 on HotelsThis hotel is fabulous if (and only if) you really want to get away from everything for a couple of days. The restaurant is excellent! The rooms are spacious. The location is very relaxing (and far away from just about everything... you have to relax here because there is nothing else around). Free wifi was a good touch for a such an otherwise remote location.
