A beautiful property on Lake Ashinoko with stunning views of Mt Fuji. Extremely close to the rope-way that takes you up to the shrine on the mountain with even more breathtaking views. Lovely rooms, helpful staff. Dining options are limited to the hotel as it is too remote to get anywhere else. Nice outdoor onsen

Great experience in Hakone. Staff was excellent. Food good. Transportation by hotel worked well.

Truly five star accommodation in an immaculate setting. The level of service is actually six star. The hot springs (Onsen) were well kept and stocked with soaps and lotions and grooming aids.
We dined at the well stocked buffet because we were there for one night but a longer stay would have included the French and Japanese cuisine.
