Thank you very much for staying at our hotel. Our hotel is located on a hill about a 15-minute walk from Hakone-Yumoto Station. Therefore, the view from the rooms is very beautiful and you can relax slowly. And we have 15 rooms with private hot springs. Most of our guests are satisfied. I also think that it is our hotel's greatest strength. Opinions are divided on the food. Our hotel serves kaiseki cuisine for dinner. It is a Japanese hospitality dish that uses a lot of seafood. In the end, I think you were not satisfied with that either. If you are resistant to kaiseki cuisine, I think it would be better to refrain from making a reservation at our hotel. We understand that Japanese kaiseki cuisine is difficult for foreigners to accept, but we have devised a menu so that Japanese chefs can experience it. We hope you will enjoy the dishes that are made with seasonal ingredients and a focus on appearance. Both dinner and breakfast can be enjoyed in a private room. In addition to plans that include kaiseki cuisine, we also sell sushi dinners and steak dinners, so please consider them. There is green tea and roasted tea in the room, as well as tea and mineral water in the refrigerator. Our hotel is located in the center of Hakone and is convenient as a base for sightseeing. We are thinking about creating an environment and plans that will satisfy not only domestic customers but also overseas customers. There are various ways to enjoy Hakone depending on the season. Please come to Hakone again. Thank you.

Thank you very much for staying at Hakone Airu this time. We are very happy to receive your high evaluation. We offer relaxation in a place away from the crowds of city. Our inn is located on a hill about 15 minutes walk from Hakone Yumoto Station. I think it would be difficult for foreign tourists with a lot of luggage to come walking. We recommend arriving by bus or taxi in advance. However, as you said, there are very few taxis now. This is a problem common to all tourist destinations in Japan. In that case, it would be a good idea to send your luggage from Hakone Yumoto Station to the hotel and walk there. And the view from the top of the hill is exceptional. It will soothe the fatigue of your journey. For dinner, we offer Japanese Kaiseki. Japanese kaiseki is a traditional dish that uses plenty of seafood. I understand that it is not acceptable to foreign tourists. However, what you should definitely try is the kaiseki cuisine. We also sell plans such as beef shabu kaiseki and sushi restaurant seating. The concept of our inn is Balinese style. Most of our employees are foreigners, and we also focus on hospitality. Your reviews will also motivate them. Our hotel's greatest strength is the private open-air bath in every room. You can enjoy a panoramic view of the Hakone Mountain Range, and the synergistic effect of the hot springs will help you relax your body and mind. Enjoy the hot springs to your heart's content. The guest rooms are approximately 20 square meters (11 tatami Japanese-style rooms), and are equipped with a terrace and an open-air bath. Japanese-style rooms come with futon bedding. Please note that all rooms have the same structure and are basically for 2 to 3 people. We also have many original amenities available. In addition to shampoo, treatments, and body soap, we also offer scrubs and emulsion. Please note that these are included in the price. Bedding will be prepared in the room at dinner time. (There is no bedroom, so we use Japanese-style futons.) If you need a futon, please let us know in advance. We will continue to strengthen our differentiation from other companies as a hot spring inn in Bali and strive to provide hospitality. We look forward to your next visit.

The service at this establishment was wonderful. Everyone was helpful, patient, and caring. Really made our stay a pleasant one. The private onsen was great!
Didnt realize there was a bus conveniently located nearby you could take to/from the Hakone-Yumoto Station which made things easier even though it was within walking distance (approx 15mins)

Thank you very much for staying at our hotel. As you said, our private hot springs are very popular. It is also our greatest strength. And our services are also very popular these days. Our ryokan has many foreign staff who can speak English and Japanese. I am studying hard so that I can provide Japanese hospitality and services to foreign tourists. Your reviews will motivate them and increase their confidence. We strive to provide better and more personalized service to each customer. All of our employees will do their best to ensure that everyone can enjoy their meals, including the presentation of the food. If you have any food allergies, please let us know in advance. We generally cannot respond to calls on the same day. note that. Our hotel is located in the center of Hakone. It is also convenient as a base for sightseeing. Hakone can be accessed by Romance Car from Shinjuku Station. There is also a Shinkansen from Odawara Station to Kyoto Station. It will also be easier to move around. Check-in is from 3 PM and check-out is at 10 AM. Please note that we will be operating with a small number of people. As you said, there is a steep slope from Hakone Yumoto Station to the hotel. There is also a public shuttle bus from the station to the hotel. We recommend that tourists with a lot of luggage take a bus or taxi. This has been announced in advance. That's because we've seen time and time again the challenges our guests face when visiting hotels. Believe please. However, since the hotel is located on top of the hill, you can see a beautiful view. Please don't forget that.Dinner time is 6pm or 6:30pm. We operate in a way that allows us to serve our food in the best possible condition. Therefore, we ask that you be sure to check in by 6:30. Hakone has a lot to enjoy in each season. There are also many attractive sightseeing spots. Please come to Hakone again. thank you very much.

Hakone was the top of my list to round off my trip and what an experience it was! Though expensive, the money it costs you goes into the food and service you recieve from the moment you step in.
But before that - fair warning there is a VERY challenging hill to get to Hakone Airu, so please be prepared to get the very limited shuttle bus up there, or a taxi which may also be quite pricey. The hill IS paved, but it is a very narrow road, very steep, and has a 90 degree bend in it making it a blind corner, so take care.
That aside, the place is stunning! Modern with a touch of classit Japanese stling. Staff greeted us at the door, took our bags and shoes and moved us into the lounge to relax with a drink. The entire building is floored with tatami matsand the water feature running trhough the centre ofcentre of the building is loud, but lovely. You even walk over it to the lounge!
Once the staff move your bags up to your room, you will be shown around then left to your own devices. There may not be much to do in this particular hotel but what it has, it does exceptionally. Our room was the highlight, 4th floor Mountain view with a private bath, andwhat a view it was! The brutal hill was worth it to see over the entirety of Hakone with the mountains front and centre. We were provided Yukata an assortment of teas and a few refridgerted drinks for our stay which was nice but rather limited. Any extras are added to a tab which is payed for after your stay including alcohol.

Thank you very much for staying at our hotel. All rooms at our inn are equipped with a private hot spring bath with mountain views. You can enjoy hot springs while admiring the beautiful scenery. That is our hotel's greatest strength. The concept and interior design are different from traditional inns. Most of the employees are also foreigners. We will strive to learn Japanese service and give back to our customers. We understand the issues surrounding food. The head chef also changed from this year. But that doesn't mean much progress. This is because our hotel serves Japanese kaiseki cuisine for dinner. Kaiseki is a traditional Japanese cooking method that uses plenty of seafood. It can also be used as a snack for drinks or as a hospitality dish. All menu items are seasoned with soup stock (seafood stock, etc.) and beautifully presented. I understand that foreign guests don't like it. However, as a ryokan, we would like you to experience Kaiseki cuisine. We also sell plans where you can choose your main dish and sushi restaurant seating plans. Please note that the dishes prepared by the Japanese chef are not completely vegetarian. We may not be able to accommodate your advance request. If you have dietary restrictions or want to eat what you like, we recommend staying at a hotel that offers buffet-style meals. It's great because you can eat whatever you want whenever you want. Two towels are provided for each room. Furthermore, towel warmers are installed in all rooms. This is a very convenient facility that will satisfy our guests. We will continue to strive to satisfy even more foreign customers. Hakone has many accommodations and sightseeing spots. Please come to Hakone again. thank you.
