What a great stay!! We travelled with our two teenage boys and I wasn’t sure how the hostel would be for us but our quadruple room was amazing. Kids loved the bunk beds. The traditional onsen was fabulous and I used every day. Super close to train/ cable car and the breakfast was very helpful each morning.
The review would not be complete without mentioning the amazing staff. They were all so helpful and patient. Went out of their way to help us with dinner recommendations and directions. So friendly and professional.
We loved our stay.

Hakone-Gora is a quiet area near the base of the cable cars taking you up for a My Fuji view. There are a few eateries and bars but not much else, and the eateries close early. As such it is great if you want a relaxing night and the Emblem Flow has great Japanese style rooms and a terrific Onsen, Also looks to be a good base for walking in the area. We loved it after the bustle of Tokyo.

We had a great stay here, the room was large. The meals with our package were very good. Particularly the dinner, It was delicious. The staff are very friendly and accommodating. The only negatives for us were the beds are very firm. I would also suggest that you book a top floor room as the second floor gets a lot of noise from above, you can hear every footstep as people walk around

Nice, clean, modern facilities. Friendly and helpful staff. The onsen was lovely. Shared bathrooms were nice. Showers are located in an onsen. There is a private shower available for women but not men.

Great affordable accommodation with onsen
Posted 3 Sep 2024 on HotelsA great, affordable hotel right by Gora station - perfect location for exploring Hakone. We opted for a private room which was lovely and comfortable. The onsen facilities are only open to guests and while small are very pleasant, and the number of people is limited at any one time. Even the snacks and drinks in the minibar were very reasonably priced and locally sourced. Thoroughly recommended!

Wonderful hotel with onsen in Gora. Most of the Staff were so nice and kind. Location is just a few steps from Gora station and is kid friendly. Beautiful room views and excellent room size (private) Liked that there was a little kitchen and laundry room too.
