"I stayed here prior to a Mt. Kilimanjaro climb and it seemed to be the nicest hotel in downtown area. It was very clean, the views of Mt. Kili were SPECTACULAR, the staff was so very kind and helpful. The best part is the rooftop restaurant. The surrounding downtown area doesn’t have many good food options so this was a life saver. "Lodge was nice. It’s older but they are doing their very best to maintain. Gardens and trees were mature. Pretty! Monkeys were fun to watch as they played and clambered through the trees. Food was good but limited options. Breakfast that was included was really good! Staff were kind and helpful. Shop was small, some souvenirs. Rooms were clean, some tiny and some much bigger even though we paid same rate 2 different stays (before and after our Kili climb). It met our needs for sure of a quiet...

"The property is at a high level of accommodation for the area, however, broken fixtures and leaking toilets across the bathroom floor were issues we faced. The room did not match the online pictures. This was pointed out and the room changed. Staff were friendly and attentive for the most part. Food was good. "
