Spacious and comfortable business/ conference hote
Posted 31 Oct 2022 on HotelsNice and comfortable hotel for business trips, room was large, in good condition, very quiet. Only criticism was lack of choice in restaurant and one has to ask for the room to be made up , which I only realized when I came back late from a business meeting and had not been explained when checking in. Other issue was that they charged more than indicated on the Hotels.com booking, which I only found out by chance - they did refund me though but it could have easily been overlooked. There is not a great deal to do in Hagen though..

The suite was fantastic and beautifully decorated. However all the personnel did not speak English and the breakfast was to go (because of COVID-19) and they could not accommodate special diet (gluten free) although I informed them at check-in. But overall a nice hotel where I would gladly stay again.

Really good value hotel. Quiet location, despite being close to the motorway. Excellent breakfast. Great to be able to check in late after the German Supercup. Only downside was that it was difficult to find.

Good value, relaxing
Posted 30 Dec 2015 on HotelsThis was our fifth stay at the Arcadeon, a conference hotel with courtyards built around ancient trees in a quiet rural environment. The rooms are large, each with a big desk and a spacious bathroom with a comfortable built-in bath tub and shower. The breakfast buffet reminds visitors that German breakfast is traditionally considered the largest meal of the day. We will certainly come again.
