Gulf Islands National Seashore hotel rooms a the Motel 6

"I’d give 4.5 stars. The Inn is kept clean everyday even when you don’t request housekeeping. New towels provided everyday without the need to call the staff. Only thing is the parking slot is limited. I will give it 5 stars if they can shampoo the carpet. No slippers provided so we have to walk barefoot and the carpet feels sticky. The smaller pillow need not to be in the room if not properly sanitized. My husband didn’t like the smell of the small pillow. (The brown or gray one) Overall, the room is ok unless you wanted to stay all day inside the inn. But if you are just staying and coming back at night, the inn provides a comfortable sleeping time. "

"Very kind staff called us to let us know that the room was ready early for us which we very much appreciated. It was a very clean and spacious room."

"The property was very nice, food was tasty and staff were friendly, but the main floor where you eat was very hot all week. Clearly they have air conditioning issues and it was ok in the morning, but we avoided the restaurant and bar in the evening and went elsewhere because it was really uncomfortable. AC in our room was fine."

"Excellent location right on Fort Walton beach. East beach access, only a short stroll over the sand dunes. The hotel is pristine, very clean. No view of the beach from the rooms unless you strain your neck. The staff was professional, the parking is great. I couldn’t be more pleased with our time there. "
