"The Highland Dell was an enjoyable stay for us. Our room, 102, was interesting. There was no thermometer setting available but I assume it was because it was certified as Green and all rooms were monitored as a whole. Room was relatively small but very clean. No closet, bathroom consisted of a toilet and shower. Sink, mirror, hairdryer were in bedroom area. Walking from the bed to the bathroom was literally down hill. Floor not level but not an insurmountable problem, just interesting. Dinner...

"The location couldn't be better for this little B and B two blocks off the main square on a quiet stretch of North St. The staff are great and for an old house there's surprisingly little noise through the walls. The daily wine pours were most welcome. But it is an old house, full of creaks and ready for some refurbishing."

"My wife and I stayed here for 2 nights to celebrate our anniversary. The manager, Nelva, was extremely courteous and accommodating. The room was very clean and the grounds are beautifully landscaped and maintained. You can hear a little traffic from the highway but not bad at all. The place is surrounded by vineyards and mountains in the distance. "It’s a relaxing place, great for exploring Healdsburg on foot or bike and a convenient drive to multiple wineries. Breakfast is well presented, afternoon wine and freshly baked cookies were appreciated. The heated pool (really a large spa pool) was nice. The massage therapist was excellent. And make sure to ask about how to get to the former speakeasy in the basement. "

"We were expecting a “hotel” but like everywhere else in the area it is actually sets of separate little bungalows for loss of a better word. Small, but cozy and clean. We had a very pleasant stay. At first we were a little taken aback that there was no tv as we both make our living doing the news, but we had excellent Wi-Fi and still managed to keep up with our station. "Clean, comfortable, well appointed throughout, and walking distance from downtown shops and restaurants for a less touristy alternative to Healdsburg. Expect wholesome and freshly prepared breakfasts like a vegetable frittata, house made yogurt, or an apple Dutch pancake, and appreciate that many of the the ingredients were grown on-site as you stroll through the Inn’s lovely garden.
