No comfortable chairs within our hotel room, all plastic with no cushions what so ever, Really!???

The property was probably beautiful in its prime when it was first created, but at this point, it is completely dilapidated. Everything has been overlooked and neglected as far as maintenance of the grounds and landscaping. Anything that’s metal on the building is rusted and falling apart. The pool was not maintained and green. Everything seems to be breaking and no attention to detail appears to be important to management or the owners. The staff on the other hand is lovely. They appear to be doing the best that they can under such conditions. I’m sure they get plenty of complaints and it’s not their fault. It felt like it’s been abandoned. I booked it based on the pictures on the internet and what I found when I arrived was completely different. I feel like a victim of false advertising. If you’ve changed your standards then your pictures and advertising should be changed to reflect the current state of the hotel. I would not recommend booking this establishment.

Think hotel were closed for some time due to Covid and low season. Need to fumigate rooms and area around. Otherwise nice location and great restaurant and friendly staff. Owner very friendly and have lots of knowledge with regards to Panama and areas to visit.

Disappointing stay.
Posted 24 Sep 2024 on HotelsWe will never return. The room needs some major cleaning. Terrible furniture. We wouldn’t even take a shower, as it needs deep cleaning. We left before the reception area opened. Couldn’t wait to get out of there.

I have been coming here for 15 years and I love it. That being said, they are doing renovations right now. By high season it should be all new!

The property has a lot of potential, however, it is understaffed. Rooms do not have phones to contact front desk and there is no staff past 9PM. There was a cockroach in my room, blood stain on the sheets. The remote for the tv did not work and there wasn't any staff available to replace it or to help in any way.
