Excellent Service

It was a short business trip to Guangzhou. The front desk and reception service was excellent. As a foreigner, I have difficulty in arranging a taxi. The staff (Wechat nick name La La) help me to book a taxi each time I needed one. The hotel location is excellent as it is very near to subway station and a big shopping mall. Thank you.

OK to stay for its location

The room is spacious and clean. The furniture is old but useable. Will be great if they have newer furniture to blend in the hotel design. Very poor sound proof. I can hear horning sound even after 10pm till past midnight on the first night. The next night I can hear a group of people having motivation talk downstairs. Did not ask for room change as only smoking room is available.

Excellent service

The service was excellent. Even though many of them didn't speak English, they tried their best to assist us in the best possible way. The only drawback was that the room service menu was very limited

Good service

The hotel itself is nice. Even though we do not speak Chinese the staff was very helpful and tried their best to attend to our needs. The room service menu is very limited.

Not the best

Second time I’ve been here now. The hotel looks nice from the outside, but inside it’s like an ageing ‘China’ hotel. The interior is way beyond its best and is very dated. English isn’t widely spoken either with only a few staff members understanding or able to communicate. As a hotel for a nights stay, yeah it’s fine, but wouldn’t want to be here for a week.
