This was by far the best place we stayed during our European vacation. The hotel amenities were great, the place was quaint and clean, the staff were so courteous, and the breakfast was vast and delicious. Not to mention the valley and mountain views and super perfect town in walkable distance.

Set in a small quaint alpine village this hotel offers a peaceful place to rest after a day of exploring. The town is close but you are far enough away to get out of the crowds. Our favorite was the beautiful views and peaceful bells on the cows that graze on nearby hills.

We had an enchanting time and made all the better by our host on check in called Ana. She was soo helpful and friendly. She checked us in early, gave us vouchers to spend at the HR Giger museum, which was our main goal of our visit. The breakfast was delicious and the lady serving breakfast was also extremely lovely. An adorable hotel with excellent views of the Swiss countryside. It was just off of the main streets of Gruyere and the room was cozy and comfortable. The on-site restaurant was also the BEST place in town to get an authentic fondue.
