Thankfully it was just one night and it was for my husband I. If we had our kids with us we absolutely would not have stayed… the only good thing was that that had a pretty Christmas tree in the lobby. So to start… the only words that the lady at the front desk said to us were “sign” as she flung all the papers at us from behind the window and she was not happy when I asked for my license back… easy mistake but a smile would have been nice. The elevator smelled terrible! The doors to the rooms all look like they were kicked in at one point. Our door didn’t even have half of the lock that latches. The door to the back parking lot didn’t lock… so tha made us feel real safe… There were dead bugs in the bathroom, a hole in the bathroom wall that was filled with toilet paper. There were half smoked cigarettes in the room. Graffiti on the wall. Only one tv worked.. in black and white and it was “snowy” as my grandmother would say so you couldn’t even see what you were watching. The sinks both gave you a shower when you turned them on and we could only get cold water out of them. The towels all had some sort of black stains on them… And we were extremely disappointed that the main reason we chose this hotel was for the jacuzzi tub which we didn’t even use bc it was filthy and looked to be falling apart!

Tough neighborhood area but hotel was fine.

The suite was very spacious and very comfortable. There is no coffee in the rooms and at Gold Star Inn & Suites.
