Disappointing stay, expected more from Wyndham

Reception staff was great but rooms are very old and tired. Pervasive wet ashtray, mouldy smell, bed and pillows very uncomfortable and noisy surroundings.

I sent a note to the hotel that we were going to be late. No one at front desk had to get security to give us a key. Found out they canceled my reservation.

Very Old hotel! Completely different than the photo shown. Don't get tricked by that. Room is very small and very old shower area where water will splash out from the booth due to poor shower curtain. Reception will close down at 8pm and they told me that they have sent room key code for KIOSK to retreat the key via email. But did not receive the email and too me a while to contact the manager to retrieve the code. very inefficient and not recommended!

Keine 24h Rezeption obwohl es auf Webseite steht, nur Mitarbeiter am Telefon. Schlüssel per Code erhalten. Im gebuchten Doppelzimmer gab es nur Bettzeug und Handtücher für eine Person. Mitarbeiter am Telefon hat neues Zimmer besorgt, wieder per Code. Wo das gleiche Problem war. Zweites Zimmer war sehr abgewohnt. Also mit gesamten Gespäck und Decke wieder ins erste Zimmer gegangen. Frühstück war mittelmäßig, Kaffee stand auf warmhalte Platten, war nicht genießbar. Beim Check out keine Entschuldigung über die Umstände die wir hatten.

Aufenthalt vom 23.05. bis 25.05.2025 Meiner Meinung nach ist das Hotel nicht zu empfehlen. Gründe: - das Personal ist unfreundlich, der deutschen Sprache nur rudimentär mächtig, sitzt im Backoffice mit den Füßen auf dem Tisch, bedient sich vor den Gästen am Frühstücksbuffet, macht Zigarettenpausen sichtbar außerhalb des Frühstücksraum im Garten und spricht laut vor den Gästen in Fremdersprache untereinander - Zimmer an sich o.k. aber der Fenstervorhang ließ sich nicht komplett schließen (nicht Dunkel im Zimmer), die Dusche ist eine Fehlkonstruktion (Duschvorgang lebt ständig am Körper, mit offen Vorgang kommt es zu "Wasserspielen" im Bad..)

Ich kam um 13 Uhr, d.h. eine Stunde vor dem offiziellen Check-in um 14 Uhr an. Trotz leerem Hotel, da am Wochenende fast alle Zimmer unbelegt waren, durfte ich nicht einchecken. Das waere nur gegen eine zusaetzliche Gebuehr moeglich gewesen. Finde ich sehr kleinlich.
