Staff were really friendly and although they didn’t speak much English, they tried. It is not stroller/wheelchair friendly. To access the reception you must go up a flight of stairs and to access the rooms you must go up 2 flights of stairs. There is a church right across the hotel that rings it’s bells every 30 minutes but besides that the area is really quiet and calm which was really nice.

Schloss Diedersdorf is a beautiful, sleepy, old country estate surrounded by fields and horse pastures. It’s very relaxing if you want to just get away. They even have play grounds and pony rides for children.
During the day it’s hard to find anybody. There is typically no one at the main reception desk. The Wi Fi in our room was useless. At night there is little to do but watch German television. It’s not a happening place.
If you plan to visit downtown Berlin the drive by car will take a stressful hour and a half,or more. I hope to never do it again.
