It ended up working out fine, but it would be helpful if the key situation was stressed more. We found the key by chance. Once inside it was terrific

Nice apartment
Posted 16 Jul 2017 on HotelsMy family and I stayed one night but it was great. It is a nice apartment with full kitchen. There is a large yard in the back. The owner is very nice. Parking however is on the street and in Europe there are narrow streets. You are in walking distance to a grocery store and restaurants. One thing that I was confused with was how Hotels.com explained the payment. So when you book they charge 70% on your credit card. This is a deposit and is just held on the card and not go through unless you don't show for your reservation or cancel after the deadline. You will be charged the full amount at check in. I suggest you pay in cash with Euros. The exchange rate the apartment uses is high if you use a credit card.

Charles and his fmily were super lovely!! It was a pleasure to meet them: they were kind, respectful of the apartment and we hope they enjoyed their time in Gross-Zimmern :) Unfortunately the credit card charges are very expensive, even if you use the card abroad. From now on I offer to the guests to transfer to my bank account, which costs also charges, but they are not so high.

sehr gutes frühstück und kostenlos parken!!!
Posted 23 May 2018 on HotelsHatten ein Doppelzimmer gebucht und ein Einzelzimmer zur doppelnutzung bekommen, war alles ganz schön klein und beengt! Frühstück war sehr gut, ebenso Parkplatz direkt am Hotel kostenlos!!
